Cheater is a story of conman Abhay (Vaibhav Tatwawdi) who cheats almost everyone he knows. He has a rich girlfriend from Mauritius, Mrudula (Pooja Sawant). Mrudula is off to Mauritius for housewarming party of a new family home, which turns out to be haunted. When Mrudulaa asks Abhay to send someone who gets rid of evil spirits, he decides to cash the opportunity himself. Initially Abhay doesn’t take haunting seriously, which turns out to be a mistake. Watch the rib-tickling comedy with blend of horror that unfolds next.
Cheater is produced under the banner of Swiss Entertainment and ditrected by ‘Ratra Arambh’ director Ajay Phansekar. The film has a solid cast of Vaibhav Tatwawdi, Pooja Sawant, Hrishikesh Joshi, Suhas Joshi, Asavari Joshi and Vrushali Chavan.
The film has four songs by Abhijeet Narvekar and sung by Sonu Nigam, Urmila Dhangar, Anandi Joshi and Avadhoot Gupte.
Overall
The film has reasonably good budget with good star cast, but Cheater lacks in entertainment value. MarathiCelebs.com gave it 3/5 star rating.
