After nearly 40 years, actor Ashok Saraf will be playing the role of a cop. Director Sameer Patil is coming up with Marathi film ‘Shentimental’, in which Ashok Saraf is playing a Mumbai cop.

The actor, famous for his role of a constable in Dada Kondke’s superhit film ‘Pandu Hawaldar’, will now be a part of Sameer Patil’s black comedy. The megahit comedy Pandu Hawaldar gave Ashok Saraf all the recognition and made him a star. Earlier, he played a constable in Ajay Dengn’s ‘Singham’. It is after 40 years that Ashok Saraf is playing a cop in a Marathi film.

‘Shentimental’ also has Mahesh Limaye as a DOP and other star cast includes Upendra Limaye and Raghuveer Yadav.
