Nakushi is the story of a girl who is ‘unwanted’ but down the line wins the hearts and becomes ‘desired’. Nakushi serial is mostly shot in the village and based on the belief that if the second or third girl child born in the family is named ‘Nakushi’ the next one will definitely be boy child. Unlike most of the serials, which are shot and based on city culture, this one has a village background. Nakushi always has a positive approach towards life even though she is neglected by all.
