Ever since Censor Board refuses to certify ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, our very own Vaibhav Tatwawdi have come out to speak against the regressive stand of the board.
Vaibhav is doing a small but important role in ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’. He is sharing a screen space with popular actress Konkona Sen Sharma and Ratna Pathak. While actress Konkona Sensharma has spoken out against the censor board, Vaibbhav Tatwawdi has also expressed strong opinions about the CBFC’s (Central Board of Film Certification) stand.
“The reasons mentioned by the CBFC in the letter are plain ridiculous. Yes, the producers will approach the FCAT now but it wouldn’t have been required had the film been cleared in the first place.” said Vaibbhav.
