Bollywood’s fascination with the underworld has continued and evolved over the years. Now Rhythm Movies in association with Mudita Films comes up with Marathi film Rajan. Produced by Darshana Bhadange and directed by Bharat Sunanda, Marathi movie Rajan is is inspired from Mumbai underworld don Chotta Rajan. Actor Santosh Juvekar is said to be playing the title role.
Rajan will revolve around the life of gangster Rajan Nikalje aka Chhota Rajan, who was once a trusted lieutenant of gangster Dawood Ibrahim. Born into a middle class Marathi family, Chhota Rajan took to black marketing of Bollywood film tickets and gradually made his way to bigger crimes like murder, extortion, arms smuggling and more.
