Marathi celeb Nivedita Saraf complained to railway minister Suresh Prabhu about poor hygiene and services on long-distance trains operated by Indian Railways.
On September 22, Nivedita Saraf took Latur Express in two-tier AC coach. After midnight, the actress heard a some sound and got up. To her horror, she found that her purse that she had kept near her pillow had been eat away by rats.
“It was so horrific that I just couldn’t sleep further as I was worried about being bitten.” said Nivedita.
Nivedita tagged the railway minister on a social networking site. Nanded MLA Hemant Patil, who also uses trains frequently , alerted the administration about similar problems.
