Marathi actress Ashwini Ekbote died of cardiac arrest on Saturday evening in Pune wherein her play ‘Natya Trividha’. Ashwini was 44 years old.
She suffered the heart break and collapsed in the middle of her performance after which was rushed to the hospital.
Ashwini was servived by her husband Pramod and son Shubhankar. Ashwini’s untimely death has left her family, fans and friends from industry shocked.
She was part of films like ‘Debu’, ‘Taptapadi’, ‘Danyavar Danka’ etc. Besides she will be remembered for her endearing screen presence in television shows like ‘Radha Hi Bawari’, ‘Ganapati Bappa Moraya’, ‘Duheri’ and ‘Durva’. The actress par excellence was an active stage artist too.
