Marathi actor Girija Oak Godbole who has Bollywood movies like ‘Shor In The City’, and ‘Taare Zameen Par’ to her credit, is getting back on television after a long gap.
She will be seen in a role of Bank Manager in Star Pravaha’s daily soap “Ga.. Sahajani”. Girija is doing a character of ‘Vidya Satpute’, who is very simple, straight and sensible officer. The actor who is married to Marathi producer Suhrud Godbole gave birth to a baby boy in July 2013, which was the reason for her break from work. Needless to say, Girija’s role as a new parent has kept her busy round-the-clock leaving no time for work commitments.
Girija is also doing a Marathi play ‘Don Special‘ with actor Jitendra Joshi.
