When new releases are not living up to the expectations, films like Boyz are coming to the rescue for Marathi film industry. Released 12 days back, the film is still going strong at the box office.
It’s a story of a ‘boyz’ growing up to accept life’s inconsistencies and facing them while still being completely themself. Dhungya (Parth Bhalerao) and Dhairya (Pratik Lad) two completely unruly boys are sent off to a boarding school by the villagers, thereby ridding themselves of the duo’s menace. Hardened mischief-makers, they continue with their fun-filled adventures in the school; with an unlikely support, that of the studious Head Boy Kabir (Sumant Shinde).
After clocking 3.72 crores in its first week, Boyz has entered its 2nd week with a bang. It almost doubled its collections by clocking 8.4 crores on its 12th day. Coming sunday was the key for the film to see where it can finish its glorious race. Boyz is all set to cross 10 Crore mark at the Box Office.
