The critically acclaimed film Bandookya that received six nominations and won four awards at the 54th Maharashtra State awards will now be released state wide on 1st September 2017. The film revolves around the many lives that are bounded by societal norms and are tortured. But their pain goes unnoticed. This subject enfolds the reality, the severity of all those Tribes existing beyond our literary community.
The film is already gaining popularity because of the use of hard hitting rural based dialogues mixed with the local boli language slang words by the characters. The film is directed by Rahul Manohar Chaudhary and the star cast includes Shashank Shende, Atisha Naik along with Namdev Murkute, Nilesh Borse, Amol Bagul and Unnati Shikhare.
