Womanhood is something to celebrate, to cherish. Being a woman is not easy. Neither the responsibilities come to an end nor the sacrifices. A woman is worth of all the love, respect and attention but sadly she often doesn’t get any. Nothing can suffice ever to explain the worth of women; yet poetess Shilpa Godbole has described few stages, situations and few things about the womanhood in her poetry series ‘Antarnaad – The Voice Within’. Reverb Katta has played the major role giving her the very good platform in the form of their new web series ‘Kavita’ where she has presented her poetries.
In the series ‘Antarnaad’ the fourth poem is ‘Waar’. Here poetess Shilpa Godbole speaks about the sacrifices of a woman; how she keeps adjusting and sacrificing for her loved ones. The next poetry is ‘Tarihi Kalat Nahi’. When a woman gives her everything to the ones she love, she empties herself but still she doesn’t owns anything. As I said before, womanhood is a vast subject but yet no words can be sufficient ever to describe the worth of women.
