We never knew there lurked a singer inside actress Priya Bapat until we saw her debut singing effort ‘Golu-Polu’ for Sachin Kundalkar’s film Vazandar.
‘Golu-Polu’ is a soulful masti song composed by Avinash – Vishwajeet, writen by Omkar Kulkarni and sung by Rohit Shyam Raut and Priya Bapat. ‘Golu Polu’ song comes at a crucial juncture in the film when the character of a plus sized girl played by Priya Bapat convey dissatisfaction about her weight to her boyfriend Siddharth Chandekar. It was Sachin Kundalkar’s idea to have Priya sing the song.
