Photocopy Review: Script Analysis

Mala and Madhu (Parna Pethe) are identical twins with completely opposite personalities. Madhu is a modern and extrovert where as Mala is shy and introvert. One day, Madhu asks Mala to help her take part in college quiz competition in her place. At quiz, Mala meets Sameer (Chetan Chitnis). Sameer attracted towards Mala thinking Mala is Madhu. Mala too falls for Sameer. But jealous Madhu snatches Sameer from Mala. Mala move away from Sameer, but he senses something is wrong.

Though directed by sensible director Vijay Maurya, Photocopy lacks in narration. The film starts off on an hasty note with a voice of Vandana Gupte, who plays Mala and Madhu’s granny. Parna Pethe is outstanding and its a treat to watch her play Mala and Madhu. Chetan Chitnis has no scope to show his talent due to weak characterization.

‘Photocopy’ touches on sibling rivalry, love and heartbreak aptly. It will remembered as a first movie by singer Neha Rajpal Productions.

Overall
The film is getting positive response on all social media. Its a love triangle comedy worth a watch for Perna Pethe alone. Photocopy touches love, jealousy and heartbreak and will connect with today’s young generation.
